The Rainier Chapter established the Community Outreach Program in 2006 in order to “give back” to our community financially and by public service. Some projects we have done are:
Collected from our members clothing suitable for job interviews and re-entering the workforce for individuals perhaps struggling financially to re-enter the workforce.
Baby Food Drive for a local food bank in need.
Face Painting at our 20th Annual Conference in 2008 for donations to a local Women’s Shelter.
Collecting Change each month at our monthly meetings to make a “Change” for a Charity.
Collecting cancelled postage stamps, helping the Sons of Norway with their charity drive.
Participate in the Toys for Tots campaign in December.

The members of the Rainier Chapter of the APA are dedicated to working together to provide educational and networking opportunities to professionals involved with all aspects of payroll, and to assist in expanding payroll knowledge to their colleagues in the Human Resources, Benefits and Accounting professions.
