The Rainier Chapter of the American Payroll association is a diverse group of payroll professionals that represent the vast array of businesses in the Pacific Northwest. Our Chapter meets monthly to discuss issues that affect the way in which payroll departments function.
As a dedicated group of peers, successfully studying for and passing your FPC or CPP certification is important to us. With that in mind, we offer our members with opportunities to prepare for these exams and ensure we all succeed!
Being an active member of our community is important to the Rainier Chapter. By working with the community and providing our support to other organizations our chapter has the ability to affect the lives of others in very positive and meaningful ways!

Northwest Regional Payroll Conference
The Rainier Chapter of the American Payroll Association is pleased to announce the 20th Annual Northwest Regional Payroll Conference to be held on September 18 – 19, 2008 at the Lynnwood Convention Center located in Lynnwood, WA.

Monthly Meetings   Exam Preparation
Our monthly meetings are an exciting and informative opportunity for you to hear from other members of the payroll industry. These meetings cover a diverse and varied range of topics that industry professionals will find extremely beneficial. We hope to see you at our next meeting. The Rainier Chapter believes in helping other professionals succeed to reach their certification goals. We provide study groups that can assist you to reach your career goals. Community Outreach
New to the Rainier Chapter in 2006 is the Community Outreach Committee.  It will provide a means to give back both financially and with public service to causes that are meaningful to us. A committee sign-up sheet was passed around at the February meeting, and I want to thank those of you who expressed an interest in participating. If you were unable to attend that meeting and would like to participate in the creation of this new committee, please call or email me. If any of you are involved with a local charity that the chapter might become involved with, please let me know. The chapter has a wealth of enthusiastic and talented people. We should be able to contribute our energies to several causes over the next year.
