Membership - where you could assist in maintaining and generating
various ways to increase membership in the Rainier Chapter, APA;
Education - which has been instrumental in providing 80 Payroll
Source books to chapter members at a substantial discount, or organize and
facilitate Study Groups;
National Payroll Week - where you could assist in the organizing the
chapter’s National Payroll Week’s events and promotions;

member of the Board,
you could contribute to the success of the Rainier Chapter, APA by promoting
chapter events/activities with local, state and national colleagues. Each
board member
provides a unique and integral opportunity to demonstrate the ever increasing
significance payroll professionals play in this global economy.

Every year the Rainier Chapter of the American Payroll Association participates
in
community service projects
to gain exposure for the payroll industry and to give back to our community.
Past chapter projects have included food drives for food banks in the Northwest
as well as donation drives to provide professional apparel for job seeking
homeless persons.
